How did you spend your day today?
Did you do your normal day-to-day routine and just go with the flow of every mundane thing that you are used to doing?
Have you been a little extra kinder today and a little more caring?
Have you been a gift for others today?
When you pass a stranger on the street on foot or in your car or are standing next to them in line at the grocery store, did you smile, or did you greet them that brings out a smile on their faces?
Did you accompany an elderly person crossing the street or even take a load of heavy bags off of their hands and arms and take them across the street?
Did you compliment them or provide a listening ear, give them a warm hug, or offer support to help them improve something?
Did you help them in some way -- to load something heavy into the trunk of their car, perhaps, or let them go in front of you in line at the grocery store because they had fewer items than you?
It takes a conscientious person to be able to sense a need from others and answer that need
The kind of person who lives in this generous and selfless way tends to be living a joyful and deeply fulfilling life themselves, which inspires them to want to share that wealth more and more with everyone they meet, and so they do.
You can be that kind, compassionate and caring human being.
You can remain in your present idea about yourself, or you can choose again. Maybe, you'll like the idea of choosing again.
Be grateful for who you are today, do not condemn who you were yesterday, and dream of who you can be tomorrow and in so doing so you will awaken the long-awaited desire that is buried within you for a long time.
After all, we are here to be a gift for others and others to be a gift for us.
Thank you all so much for your precious time reading this post.
God be with you all always in all ways.
In light, love, and peace,
Elizabeth
